The name 'Copper Point' was chosen for the development at Airhill as it bears testament to the history of the local area both on land and sea. Since before 2000 B.C., copper has been mined extensively on Mount Gabriel, which provides a stunning backdrop to our development. Consequently, the lighthouse which is located close to Airhill and has been around since 1864 is named Copper Point also.
